Bansha House Stables is based in the small village of Bansha, County Tipperary and is located on some of the best limestone land in the world for raising young racehorses. Con Marnane is a major producer of top class racehorses at the European 2YO in training sales. Con carefully selects yearlings in USA, England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and of course Ireland and presents them at the major Breeze-Up sales in Europe. Con’s aim is to select a bunch of yearlings that he really likes and that have the athleticism soundness and temperament to be top class racehorses. Since 2005 incredibly we have produced no less than 18 Group/Grade one performers.
Our graduates are sharp and well-educated enough to race as 2YOs and our training regime is kind enough to ensure that they continue to thrive and enjoy success for many years after that. Join Con and Theresa along with their daughters Amy and Liv at their Tipperary base to witness these top-class facilities and horses in training. Con is a wonderful storyteller and you will be treated as one of the family throughout your visit. Lunch will also be included in this experience. Suitable for a maximum group size of 10 for the premium experience however, larger groups may be facilitated at certain times of the year.
